The Malta National Children’s Choir, under the direction of Artistic and Musical Director Ms Stephanie Spiteri, MTL (Melit.), B.A. (Hons.) (Melit.), is founded on an ethos of inclusivity, musical excellence and personal growth. Welcoming students aged five to fifteen from across Malta and Gozo, the choir fosters unity and community through a shared passion for singing while nurturing essential values such as discipline, teamwork, confidence, responsibility and respect.

 

Believing in the transformative power of music to connect people and inspire positive change, the choir provides young singers with opportunities to develop as both artists and individuals. With a programme of distinguished performances, including the much-loved Magical Christmas Concert and other significant projects throughout the year, the choir offers a vibrant platform for musical expression.

Auditions are held at various times throughout the year, and interested applicants are encouraged to enquire about upcoming opportunities. During auditions, Ms Spiteri focuses on vocal quality, pitch accuracy, musical awareness and the ability to work cooperatively with peers. No prior musical experience is required, as particular importance is placed on intonation, teamwork, enthusiasm and a genuine love for singing.
